I've had this blog for 10 months and ever since I'd had spent waaay too much money on make-up products. Actually, my blog is basically the reason why I've started putting on make-up and learning how to do it the best way. I'm following a lot of beauty gurus on Instagram and Youtube and feel like thanking them every time someone gives me a compliment for my make-up. I know I'm far away from an expert or even a make-up vlogger, but I've completely fell head over heels with everything that's connected with cosmetics (du-uh, I'm a girl), so I've done some research into this area. It's harder than I imagined!! The products that I use are perfectly suitable for my sensitive skin and I figured I should share my thoughts on them.
1. YSL Foundation
Probably the best in the world. I bought my first foundation 2 years ago from an airport and it was the wisest decision I could ever make to choose the Touche Éclat by Yves Saint Laurent. Admittedly, I've only tried this one and Estée Lauder's Double Wear, which was pretty good too, but felt too harsh on my face so I sticked to YSL. I'm getting along amazing with it, but it's definitely not for everyone. This foundation is so oily, I was surprised by how well it suits my mixed complexion. It can give you that unwanted shiny-skin effect if it's not set with a good powder. That leads me to the second product:
2. Make Up For ever HD Powder
It was a tip from a friend. One of the best cosmetics tips I've received I guess. It can be applied plentifully for a night out or just in the right amount for a flawless daily make-up. I use it to highlight the right areas at the end, after I've already set my foundation with a Sephora Powder.
3. EOS Lip Balm
I never go anywhere without a lip balm and EOS is my favorite one. The name is the abbreviation from Evolution Of Smooth and I must say that since I've been using it my lips are sensitive and dry no more. It's my alternative for every time I'm too lazy to finish my make-up with lipstick ('cause it takes me from 5 up to 15 minutes to get my lips perfectly done). I have it in Summer Fruit and I really need a new one 'cause I've almost overused it...
4. NUDE ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette by The Balm
The Naughty one, of course. The colors are rightly pigmented and last a lot if they're set with a good insurance. I bought it 3 months ago but it's barely noticeable that I've been using it ever since. My favorite shade is Sexy, especially because it gets easily integrated into almost any look.
5. Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara
Another great tip (shoutout to Hey Blondie for this one!). If I used to wear little make-up on from time to time before The Bear Girl started, I almost NEVER used mascara. That's because I couldn't stand it (I still can't, but I'm making an effort), my eyes are too sensitive and it gets scratchy. However, this one lasts long enough and makes my lashes look incredible. I probably won't try another one too soon because, as I said, I'm not a big fan of mascara, and this one's fame seems justified to me.
These are products that really work for me and I recommend them with all of my heart. They are my current makeup crushes, but as I buy and try brands and learn more about this field, I will write other real reviews so you can know if a product is worth buying or overrated.
